La propriétaire nous a même offert un bon petit vin blanc de Vézelay, très gentille attention"

"The wood burner was fantastic to have. Also the enclosed garden and play equipment for the children was great. There were four bedrooms but we only used three. The forth bedroom comes off the main large bedroom. The property is located in a national park which made for lovely views and a quiet location. However it did mean that we were a good 30-45 minutes away from the bigger towns. This didn’t bother us as we were happy to drive. The town also had a supermarket and a fuel station. The host was lovely and very helpful."

"The stairs were steep and had gaps at the back so we had to be very careful with our youngest going up and down the stairs. But once she got to grips with it it was fine. So really not an issue. Due to the way the photos of the property were taken we had assumed that the property was detached. But it isn’t. There is another property attached to it. Again, not really a big issue but just something to be aware of if you are looking for something more private or secluded. We tend to try to find detached properties as our son is autistic and needs space. But we didn’t bump into the others who were staying next door and didn’t hear them, and the property itself boasts lots of space inside and out. There is an extra charge for: towels, bed linens, and electricity usage above 8kwh per day. As a family of 5 we used the dishwasher and washing machine and ended up having to pay an additional 30 euros for our 6/7 day holiday. We also chose to have bed linens and towels for us so again ended up having to pay an additional 67 euros. Plus the end of stay cleaning fee of 50 euros - which was optional but we chose to make use of this as we were leaving at 6am. We much prefer properties to just include these and incorporate them into a higher price so that we know how much we are going to have to pay up front. It wasn’t a big issue but just to be aware of this for future stays. It does say in the policies but it’s best to factor these into the overall price when comparing places to stay."
